1Introduction

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") sets out how pk30, operating at https://pk30.cam (the "Platform"), collects, processes, stores, shares and protects personal data relating to users of the Platform. It also explains the rights available to you in respect of your personal data and how you may exercise those rights.

pk30 is an independent online gambling information and review platform. We do not operate a casino, accept wagers or process real-money transactions directly. Nevertheless, the personal data that users share with us in the course of accessing our guides, reviews and educational content is treated with the same level of care and rigour that any responsible data handler should apply.

This Policy applies to all personal data processed by pk30 in connection with the Platform, including data collected through account registration, contact forms, cookies, analytics tools and any other channel through which you interact with us. It does not cover the data-handling practices of third-party operators, payment providers or other external services that may be referenced on the Platform — each of those parties maintains its own privacy documentation that you should review independently.

By continuing to use the Platform after this Policy has been made available to you, you acknowledge that you have read and understood its terms. If you disagree with any part of this Policy, please cease use of the Platform and contact us to request deletion of any data we may hold about you.

Pakistan Data Context: Pakistan's Personal Data Protection Bill and related legislative developments may impose obligations on platforms serving Pakistani users. While a comprehensive federal data-protection framework continues to evolve, pk30 is committed to applying robust, internationally recognised privacy standards — including principles drawn from GDPR best practice — as a baseline for all data processing activities.

2Definitions

The following terms carry the meanings set out below throughout this Policy:

  • "Personal Data" means any information that identifies or could reasonably identify a living individual, either alone or in combination with other information.
  • "Processing" means any operation performed on personal data, including collection, recording, storage, adaptation, retrieval, use, disclosure, erasure or destruction.
  • "Data Controller" means the party that determines the purposes and means of processing personal data — in this case, pk30.
  • "Data Processor" means any third party that processes personal data on behalf of pk30 under a contractual arrangement.
  • "User" / "you" means any individual who accesses, registers on or otherwise uses the Platform.
  • "Platform" means the pk30 website at https://pk30.cam and all associated pages, tools and services.
  • "Cookies" means small text files placed on your device by a website to store browsing-related information.
  • "Consent" means a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of your agreement to the processing of your personal data for a particular purpose.
  • "Sensitive Data" means personal data revealing racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health conditions, financial circumstances or other categories that warrant heightened protection.
  • "Pseudonymisation" means the processing of personal data in such a way that it can no longer be attributed to a specific individual without the use of additional, separately held information.

3Data Controller

For the purposes of this Policy, the Data Controller responsible for your personal data is pk30, operating the Platform at https://pk30.cam.

pk30 determines the purposes for which and the means by which personal data collected through the Platform is processed. Where pk30 engages third-party Data Processors, it does so under binding data-processing agreements that require those processors to handle personal data only on pk30's documented instructions and to implement appropriate security measures.

All enquiries, requests and formal complaints relating to the processing of your personal data should be directed to pk30 using the contact details provided in Section 16 of this Policy.

4Data We Collect

pk30 collects personal data through several channels. The categories of data we may collect are described below:

4.1 Registration & Account Data. When you create an account on the Platform, we collect information including your chosen username, email address, country of residence and, where provided, your preferred language. We do not require you to provide your full legal name or national identity number (CNIC) to register on pk30 directly, though third-party Operators you access via the Platform will have their own KYC requirements.

4.2 Communication Data. When you contact us via our support email or any enquiry channel, we collect the content of your message, your email address and any other information you voluntarily include in your correspondence.

4.3 Technical & Device Data. We automatically collect certain technical information when you access the Platform, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, referring URL and pages visited. This data is used primarily for security, performance monitoring and analytics purposes.

4.4 Usage & Behavioural Data. We collect information about how you interact with the Platform — including which guides you read, how long you spend on individual pages, which links you click and your navigation path through the site. This data helps us understand user needs and improve our content.

4.5 Cookie Data. We collect data through cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 10 of this Policy.

Data Minimisation Principle: pk30 adheres to the principle of data minimisation — we collect only the personal data that is genuinely necessary for the stated purposes. We do not collect financial account details, payment card numbers or national identity documents through the pk30 Platform itself.

4.6 Summary of Data Categories:

Category Examples Collection Method
Identity Data Username, email address, country of residence Provided by you during registration
Communication Data Support messages, enquiry content Provided by you via contact channels
Technical Data IP address, browser type, device type, OS Collected automatically on access
Usage Data Pages visited, time on page, links clicked Collected automatically via analytics
Cookie Data Session tokens, preference settings, analytics IDs Placed on your device via browser

6How We Use Your Data

pk30 uses your personal data for the following specific purposes, each of which is supported by a valid legal basis as described in Section 5:

  • Account Management: To create, maintain and administer your Platform account; to authenticate your identity on login; and to respond to account-related enquiries.
  • Service Delivery: To provide you with access to our guides, reviews, odds explainers, payment method information and other Platform content.
  • Customer Support: To respond to your enquiries, resolve complaints and provide technical assistance.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorised access, abuse of the Platform and other security threats.
  • Analytics & Platform Improvement: To analyse usage patterns, understand how Pakistani users engage with our content, identify areas for improvement and prioritise future content development — for example, understanding whether users in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad interact differently with PSL cricket guides versus other content categories.
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from competent authorities and defend or prosecute legal claims.
  • Communications (Consent-Based): Where you have expressly opted in, to send you service updates, content recommendations and information about new Platform features. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • Responsible Gambling: To monitor for indicators of problematic gambling behaviour patterns on the Platform and, where appropriate, to provide users with access to responsible gambling guidance and resources.
Purpose Limitation: pk30 will not use your personal data for purposes that are incompatible with those described in this Policy without first notifying you and, where required, obtaining your consent.

7Data Sharing & Disclosure

7.1 No Sale of Data. pk30 does not sell, rent or otherwise trade your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. This is an absolute policy commitment — not a qualified statement.

7.2 Service Providers. We share personal data with carefully selected third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform. These include cloud hosting providers, analytics platforms, email delivery services and security monitoring tools. All such providers are engaged under binding data-processing agreements that restrict their use of your data to the specific services they provide to pk30.

7.3 Legal Disclosure. We may disclose personal data to law enforcement agencies, regulatory authorities, courts or other public bodies where we are legally required or compelled to do so — for example, in response to a valid court order, regulatory investigation or statutory reporting obligation.

7.4 Business Transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or sale of all or part of pk30's business, personal data held by pk30 may form part of the transferred assets. In such circumstances, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the receiving party commits to treating your personal data in accordance with this Policy or an equivalent standard.

7.5 Aggregated & Anonymised Data. We may share aggregated, anonymised statistical data — for example, overall Platform usage statistics or content engagement trends — with third parties including research organisations, content partners or media. Aggregated data does not identify individual users and therefore does not constitute sharing of personal data for the purposes of this Policy.

7.6 Payment References. pk30 does not process financial transactions. References to payment providers such as Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah on the Platform are educational in nature. Any personal or financial data you share with those providers is subject to their own, separate privacy policies.

8Data Retention

pk30 retains personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal obligations. The following general retention periods apply:

Data Category Retention Period Rationale
Account registration data Duration of account + 2 years post-closure Service delivery; dispute resolution
Support correspondence 3 years from last interaction Complaint resolution; legal defence
Technical / log data Up to 12 months Security monitoring; fraud detection
Analytics data Up to 26 months (anonymised thereafter) Platform improvement; trend analysis
Cookie data Per cookie lifespan (see Section 10) Session management; preference storage

Where personal data is no longer required for any active purpose and no legal obligation requires its continued retention, pk30 will securely delete or anonymise that data in a timely manner.

9Security Measures

pk30 implements a range of technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration or disclosure. These measures include:

  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between your browser and the Platform is protected using TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption via HTTPS. Do not use the Platform over unsecured public Wi-Fi networks without additional protection.
  • Access Controls: Access to personal data within pk30's systems is restricted on a need-to-know basis. Staff and contractors with access to personal data are subject to confidentiality obligations.
  • Pseudonymisation: Where operationally appropriate, personal data is pseudonymised to reduce the risk associated with potential data incidents.
  • Regular Security Reviews: pk30 conducts periodic reviews of its data-handling practices, access logs and third-party processor arrangements to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: In the event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, pk30 will take prompt steps to contain and assess the breach, and will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
Your Security Responsibilities: While pk30 takes security seriously, you also have a role to play. Use a strong, unique password for your pk30 account. Never share your login credentials. Report any suspected unauthorised access to your account immediately via the contact details in Section 16.

10Cookies & Tracking Technologies

pk30 uses cookies and similar technologies to enable core Platform functionality, remember your preferences and collect analytics data. The categories of cookies we use are described below:

Cookie Type Purpose Consent Required
Essential / Strictly Necessary Enable core functions such as session management, security tokens and navigation. The Platform cannot function properly without these. No — these are placed on the basis of legitimate interests / contractual necessity
Analytics / Performance Collect anonymised usage data to help us understand how users engage with the Platform — pages visited, time on page, navigation paths. Yes — placed only with your consent
Preference / Functional Remember settings such as language preference, display options and previously dismissed notices. Yes — placed only with your consent

10.1 Managing Cookies. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Instructions for major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) are available via those browsers' respective help documentation. Please note that disabling essential cookies may impair your ability to use the Platform correctly.

10.2 No Third-Party Advertising Cookies. pk30 does not place or permit advertising network cookies on the Platform. We do not build advertising profiles of our users or share browsing data with third-party advertising exchanges.

10.3 Do Not Track. Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. pk30 acknowledges DNT signals and treats them as a preference for minimal data collection, though industry-wide DNT standards are not yet universally implemented.

11International Data Transfers

pk30 operates as a globally accessible Platform, and some of our service providers may be located in or process data in countries outside Pakistan. Where personal data is transferred to countries that do not have a domestic data protection framework equivalent to international best practice, pk30 will take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your data continues to receive adequate protection.

Such safeguards may include contractual clauses that impose data protection obligations on the recipient party, or reliance on the service provider's participation in a recognised international data protection framework.

By using the Platform and submitting personal data, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and stored in jurisdictions outside Pakistan. pk30 takes this responsibility seriously and will not transfer personal data to a third-party processor in any jurisdiction without first assessing the adequacy of protections in place.

12User Rights

Subject to applicable law and limited exceptions, you have the following rights in respect of the personal data that pk30 holds about you. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details provided in Section 16.

Right of Access

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, along with information about how it is being processed. We will respond within 30 days of a verified request.

Right to Rectification

If any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that it be corrected or updated without undue delay.

Right to Erasure

You may request the deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, where you withdraw consent, or where processing is unlawful. Exceptions apply where retention is required by law.

Right to Restrict Processing

In certain circumstances — for example, while the accuracy of data is being contested — you may request that we restrict the active processing of your personal data without deleting it.

Right to Data Portability

Where processing is based on consent or contractual necessity and carried out by automated means, you may request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format for transfer to another service.

Right to Object

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling. If you object, we will cease processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.

Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based solely on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before the withdrawal.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that pk30 has handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority in the jurisdiction where you reside or where the alleged infringement occurred.

How to Exercise Your Rights: Submit your request in writing to [email protected]. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond substantively within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request in order to protect your data from unauthorised access.

13Minors & Age Restriction

The Platform is strictly intended for users who are at least 18 years of age, or the higher minimum age required by the licensing jurisdiction of any Operator referenced on the Platform. pk30 does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the applicable minimum age.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a minor in your care has submitted personal data to pk30, please contact us immediately at the details provided in Section 16. Upon verification, we will take prompt steps to delete any data associated with the minor's use of the Platform.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to use parental control software and browser-level content filters to prevent underage access to gambling-related information platforms.

14Third-Party Links & Services

The Platform may reference or describe third-party operators, payment services and other external organisations in the context of its educational and review content. Any such references are informational only. pk30 does not embed live third-party trackers or advertising pixels, and we do not share user data with referenced third parties on the basis of that content alone.

If you choose to follow a reference to a third-party operator's platform — whether for the purpose of registration, deposit, wagering or any other activity — that third party's own privacy policy will apply to the data you share with them. pk30 accepts no responsibility for the privacy practices of third-party operators, payment providers, or any other external service you access independently of the Platform.

We recommend that Pakistani users review the privacy policies of any Operator carefully before creating an account or sharing personal or financial data, paying particular attention to data retention practices, KYC procedures and cross-border transfer arrangements.

15Changes to This Policy

pk30 reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data-handling practices, legal obligations or Platform operations. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice to registered users.

Your continued use of the Platform following the publication of a revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We recommend that you review this Policy periodically. If you do not agree with any changes, please cease use of the Platform and contact us to request deletion of your personal data.

Collect Only What's Needed
pk30 applies strict data minimisation. We ask for the minimum information required to provide our service well — nothing more. We do not collect financial card data or national identity numbers through the Platform directly.
Encrypted & Secured
All Platform traffic is protected by HTTPS/TLS encryption. Internal access controls ensure that only authorised personnel can view personal data, and only when operationally necessary.
